About Peh Boon Keong
Roland Peh being investing in Stock since 2006 and went down to Zero in 2008 and almost entered in the Negative Territory. He managed to enter the SIM- UOL (University of London) as a part time student and working full-time in Civil Service under the umbrella of Ministry of Home Affairs.
In 2013, he took part in Bloomberg Amplitude Test and score 490 and ranked 69% percentile in the Singapore Finance Graduate Cohort. The Bloomberg Test demonstrated his strength in Financial Statement Analysis, Global Markets and Investment Banking. He was Over the years in University, he stay invested and his portfolio grew to 6 digits figure within 5 years (09,10,11,12,13) with his civil service salary that was vested in stock market. He was queried by a few friends, how he paid his Uni fees (28K), paid his Car(9k yearly) and pay for his shares(6 digit) with the medium Civil Service salary, and his answer is to analyze a stock fundamentally.
He graduate in 2013 with a Bachelor of Banking and Finance and left Civil Service in 2014, and joined PhillipCapital as a Remisier and Financial Service Consultant. Job allocation with 80% centric to stock investing and Trading and 20% Financial advisory.
He credits his financial achievements to the SIM-UOL lecturer, Mr Mok Tian Soon(POA, Management Accounting, Securities Analysis and Valuation), Mr Alvin Yap (Investment Management), Mr Seet Min Kok (Macroeconomics).
