About JB Lee
I am a medical student currently studying overseas, with a side-interest in investing and the world of business and finance in general.
I cover mainly the US market, with some HK and a tiny bit of SGX.
I follow a value-growth investing style and try hard to follow the “buying a business” mindset, hence and I buy shares belonging to great companies, but not stocks that are great.
I think options have been a wonderful invention as far as generating continuous income and leveraging goes, and it is unfortunate that SGX-only participants don’t get to benefit from such an instrument. Follow me and I will show you how “risky” options are. It is possible to be conservative and make 20% p.a. as a small investor when you know how to harness the power of options in your portfolio, while at the same time minimising your downside (and I don’t mean buying puts).
