Y&G CORPORATION BHD (Y&G or the Company) (formerly known as MERCES HOLDINGS BERHAD), incorporated in the sixties as a limited company in Malaysia, is principally involved in investment holding, property development, property investment and construction, serving both household and corporate customers. Y&G currently has an Authorized Share Capital of RM100 Million with Issued and Fully Paid-Up Share Capital of RM 51 Million Ordinary Shares of RM1.00 each. The Company, which was converted into a public limited company in Year 1996, was listed on the Second Board of the Bursa Malaysia on 1 August 1997 under its former name of CCM BIOSCIENCE BERHAD. The Company had, in Year 2001, further changed its name to MERCES HOLDINGS BERHAD following its acquisition of a property development & construction business and disposal of its entire agrochemicals business. Under the new leadership and direction of Dato Sri Yap Seng Yew, the Company had, in Year 2008, changed its name to the current name of "Y&G CORPORATION BHD" to reflect a new corporate image and branding with the aim of expanding our products and services nationwide to provide all customers an ultimate home experience
