TADMAX, formerly known as Wijaya Baru Global Berhad (WBGB) was incorporated in Malaysia under the Companies Act, 1965 on 4 December 1968 as a public limited company under the name of Pacific Chemicals Berhad and changed to its present name on 16 June 1999. WBGB was listed on the Main Board of Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange, now known as Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad on 22 December 1970. At present, it has an authorized share capital of RM600 million and the issued and paid-up capital of RM276,845,768 divided into 276,845,768 ordinary shares of RM1.00 each. The core business of the Group is timber and its timber concession is located in Kapit, Sarawak. However, it has sinced diversified its business activities into construction, developments, drainage construction, reclamation, property development, turnkey contracting and financing project developments; with healthcare, financial services and food manufacturing being its latest additions. In realizing its vision to be a global corporation, WBGB spreads its business activities to overseas and as a start has ventured into the food industry in China.
