Euroseas Ltd. is a provider of worldwide ocean-going transportation services. The Company owns and operates drybulk carriers that transport major bulks, such as iron ore, coal and grains, and minor bulks, such as bauxite, phosphate and fertilizers. The Company also owns and operates containerships and multipurpose vessels that transport dry and refrigerated containerized cargoes, including manufactured products and perishables. As of April 25, 2013, its fleet consisted of five drybulk carriers (consist of four Panamax drybulk carriers and one Handymax drybulk carrier), nine containerships and one multipurpose vessel. As of April 25, 2013, the vessels in its fleet had an average age of approximately 19 years. The total cargo carrying capacity of the five drybulk carriers is 331,808 deadweight and of the nine containerships are 240,687 deadweight and 15,855 twenty-foot equivalent units. On March 16, 2012, the Company sold for its container vessels in its fleet, the M/V Jonathan P.
