Community Mutual�s principal business is accepting deposits from the general public and using those deposits to make residential loans, as well as commercial real estate loans and consumer loans to individuals and small businesses primarily in Westchester County and the neighbouring areas in New York State. Community Mutual also invests in short- and medium-term marketable securities and other liquid investments. In May 2013, Customers Bancorp Inc merged with CMS Bancorp Inc.
