Kejuruteraan Samudra Timur Berhad ("KSTB") is a global service provider servicing the oil and gas industry. KSTB was incorporated in Malaysia under the Companies Act, 1965 on 16 July 1985 as a private limited company and formed under the name of Intel Paint (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. It converted to a public limited company and assumed its present name of KSTB on 16 January 2003. KSTB was listed on the Second Board of Bursa Malaysia (now known as Main Market of Bursa Malaysia) on 19 February 2004. KSTB Group has over 20 years of know-how, with an unparalled operational track records in the provision of services to upstream onshore and offshore exploration, development, production and workover programs, for the oil and gas sector. KSTB Group has a dedicated workforce of more than 500 highly skilled personnel. KSTB Group consists of KSTB and its subsidiary companies, Samudra Timur Sdn. Bhd. ("STSB"), Sobena Offshore Inc Sdn.
