The "MUIG Summit: Trade, Invest, Triumph!" is a 4-weeks competition aimed to equip Monash University students with actionable insights & expertise in trading & investing. The competition comprises 3 key phases: a Workshop Series, an Online Trading Round, and an Investing Case Study Final Round. Specifically, this Investing Note Simulation Platform is solely used for participants to compete for the phase of Online Trading Round.
All trading activities are conducted on the simulation platform from Investing Note. Contestants will have free trial access to ShareInvestor WebPro during the Online Trading Round period. For seamless trading operations, we will use a WhatsApp group for communication and a Discord Channel for technical issue purposes.
Top 40 participants on the leaderboard will advance to the Investing Case Study Final Round.
Note: This competition is only open for Monash University Malaysia students.
Prizes for MUIG Summit: Trade, Invest, Triumph!
To get MUIG Summit's ultimate prizes, participant need to first compete in Online Trading Round, and secure a spot on the Top 40 Leaderboard. Then, the participant will be chosen to advanced to the Investing Case Study Final Round.
In Investing Case Study Final Round, the pool of 40 finalists will be randomly arranged into groups of four. Teams will collaborate on investing case study questions and craft a comprehensive pitch for the Final Round presentation. Our judges will crown the Top 3 winning teams, and the cash prizes awarded to each winning team will be equitably divided among its members.
Our ultimate cash prizes are allocated as follows:
1st Prize - RM2,500
2nd Prize - RM1,500
3rd Prize - RM1,000
